We collect information you provide directly: your name, email address, username, profile details, and content you submit through simulations. We also collect usage data automatically through cookies and analytics (Vercel Analytics).

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

• Provide, maintain, and improve the Platform
• Process subscription payments through Stripe
• Display your public profile and case studies
• Send transactional emails (welcome, billing confirmations)
• Analyze usage patterns to improve the product

3. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services that may process your data:

• Supabase — Authentication and database hosting
• Stripe — Payment processing
• Resend — Transactional email delivery
• Vercel — Hosting and analytics
• Upstash — Rate limiting

Each service processes data according to their own privacy policies. We do not sell your personal information to any third party.

4. Data You Make Public

Your public profile (username, display name, bio, tech stack, and completed case studies) is visible to anyone on the internet. You control what appears on your profile through your settings. In-progress work is only visible to you.

5. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including HTTPS encryption, CSRF protection, rate limiting, and secure cookie handling. Authentication is managed through OAuth providers (GitHub, Google) — we do not store passwords.

6. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will remove your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law or for legitimate business purposes (e.g., billing records).

7. Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. You can update your profile information through your account settings or contact us to request data deletion.

8. Cookies

We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. We use Vercel Analytics for anonymous usage tracking. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance.
